Many of the legends and myths that evoke extraordinary worlds, inhabited by worlds, populated by fantastic and unbelievable beings, were born in the Middle incredible beings were born in the Middle Ages. What is Bestiaries became popular during the Middle Ages and gave rise to medieval times, giving rise to veritable encyclopaedias full of nature spirits, magical of nature spirits, magical beings and, of course, monsters.
Our didactic workshop proposes to create a particular Bestiary inspired by medieval miniature art. The students will reinterpret these bestiaries by using botanical plates that they will be able to combine, using different artistic different artistic techniques, such as collage or painting, creating their own painting, thus creating their own Bestiary.
